I forgot to post that I will be sending email surveys to those who attend the workshops. I hate to take time during the day to fill them out so I thought we would do it this way.
If anyone is thinking about next year and would like to present, if we offer these again, please email me! I will then pass your name on to next year's Chair, Mary Maxon!

Hello!
Hello all,
Some ladies from Bethel here went to the Best Practices day and said that it was wonderful! Did anyone else go? Do you have stories to share? Did you win an award? Would you like to brag a little on here? Send me an email! kalchthaleri@einetwork.net!
Last Friday was the first of the Spring Workshops!
There are still bugs to work out, but the presenters did a wonderful job and a few of them and I received very positive email feedback already!
This Friday is Cambria County! If you still want to get in, email ellen@palibraries.org and tell her and I can get your check on Friday. Also please email me so that I can make sure there is food for you.
Thank you for all of the great information about your writing groups-- that article will be submitted for the May issue!
Keep sending your bios, comments, suggestions, anything you want to add to the site!
Have a wonderful week!
Blessings,
ing :)

Busy Week!
Tomorrow is the Best Practices Award Luncheon in Harrisburg! I hope all of you are going to be there! I am SERIOUSLY bummed, as I will not be able to attend...this is probably TMI, but I ended up with a kidney infection and can't make the trip. :-(. But it will be an amazing day and a time to celebrate all of the wonderful things that PA Libraries are doing-- all of the wonder things that YOU are doing, that is!
Friday is the first of the Spring Continuing Education Workshops. We have great group of folks signed up for this workshop in Shaler. If by some chance you are still thinking about going--- email me kalchthaleri@einetwork.net before noon on Thursday and just bring your check and your registration form on Friday. But please email me just so I can make food arrangements for you!
I am getting a great response regarding the writing groups you are doing and look forward to including that in the Bulletin article in May. I have also discovered that in SEVERAL places on the YSD blog I have spelled Bulletin wrong. This is very embarrassing, but is part of my history...for 7 years I was a church pastor it was even more necessary to spell bulletin correctly, but sadly I never learned.
So--- keep watching for the BULLETIN and keep sending your writing group info for the BULLETIN and have a great week!

Happy Monday! --- CALL FOR YOUR STORIES!!!
Hello all,
Don't miss Kathy Maron-Woods' (Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh) great intergenerational programming idea on the Intergenerational Info Site. There you will also find links sent from Claudia Koenig of Commonwealth Libraries.
For the May or June issue I would like to feature any writing groups that you have in your library (for children or teens). Do you have your own group? Do you publish a newsletter? Fiction? Poetry? Online? In print? Do you have an author's contest? Send away! And your information will be included in the May or June issue of the Bulliten! Spend student samples, pictures, whatever you have!
All of the submissions that I received for PaLA program proposals were sent in to the Program Committee. They will make the ultimate decisions and I don't envy them! The ones that I saw were fantastic and I know this conference is going to be awesome!
Have a great week!
